How to quickly add your Twitter contacts to public or private Twitter lists
Hi and welcome to this Blinkered explainer series video.
In this video, we’re going to speak about lists in Twitter – how to add your followers or someone following you to a list.
Twitter can be a very noisy and a very busy place, so sometimes it is really, really good to be able to add groups of contacts into a specific list, whether they be suppliers, clients or competitors, or different types of business.
The good news is it’s really easy and fast to do and we’ll show you just now.
We’ll select one of our followers. Click on Followers and this gives a list of organisations, people, and businesses that are following us.
Select a follower and click on “More user actions” on the three vertical dots. On the menu, there’s an option to Add or remove from lists.
This takes you into your lists section which is showing your existing lists. If you want to create a new one, click on Create a list. Give your list a name and description. Finally, you have an option for public or private list. If it is public anyone can see and follow it. If it is private – only you can see it.
Select the list you want to add your follower and click on the X to close the window.
Hopefully, that’s been useful. If there are any more benefits or hints you think you would benefit from, or your contacts will benefit from, please feel free to drop us a line at blinkeredmedia.com and we’ll make a new video for you.
Thanks for your time and take care.
